![]() the usb i was using, is an old sandisk and the write speed kept going up and up, and getting to something like 10 hours eta before failing.įor setup, i skipped downloading the dat files, when it said dat files not found.įor ripping, i had it set to no for dual layer (unless its a dual layer disc as there is a list of games that are dual layer) it also doesn't matter which ports you plug the usb into (providing the ports are working and not damaged). The other thing is to make sure your usb is good quality, works well, and is in ntfs format. however 1st of dont bother with the dat files on your usb, as it can crash cleanrip if the game is not in the database or something. Ok i have managed to get my games to work by following here. Im not sure how i could say make it rip 1gb files at a time to front usb then merge them into 1 big iso at the end on my computer.Īny ideas on how something simple could work? its a copy of mario kart wii and the disk is fine and ok and there's nothing wrong with the usb ports on the back of my black wii. dat files and that doesn't make a difference weather i set it to yes or no. it would say error and exit to black screen on the failure after 10 seconds. however, no matter what, cleanrip cant rip my wii game despite having the chuck size at max, and have tried setting chuck size to 1gb and that doesn't make a difference. My usb is set as ntfs and is 8gb and mounts fine. but the sd card is only 2gb which cant hold 1 big iso of a wii game. I was able to rip a gamecube game to the sd card, no problem. ![]() However, i cant seam to rip wii or gamecube games to the back usb ports no matter what device i have plugged in. So i have setup cleanrip and installed the homebrew channel fine.
